2016 to 2017
This World Bank funded project was managed by GFA and implemented/led by the BfA team to examine the clustering of eight utilities as part of an institutional and organizational strengthening frameworks to provide plan, manage, regulate and finance Kiambu County water and sanitation services in an efficient manner. The main activities included conducting institutional reviews of governance, financial management, human resources, IT and other internal controls systems, among others. The team supported Kiambu County to conceptualize and road map the clustering process and develop materials and organize forums to support knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer learning for counties nationally
